Terra Incognita

The ‘Terra Incognita’ series is set of conceptional drawings that delve into the concept of liminal space and cognition as a construct. The woods, or vegetation, as a symbol, represent life, renewal and the spiritual aspects of oneself. The idea of ‘being’ lost in a forest or the woods symbolizes the sense of being lost or confused — we need to trust our instincts to find the way out, or we may be exploring our unconscious to “find oneself”.
