MJH Masterplan: Key buildings on site plans

The Manchester Joint Hospitals project is the coming together of four new hospitals, and provision of additional supplementary facilities such as teaching and research.

To represent the new, the old, and the refurbished, a site plan was one of the most important drawings to produce since it would lay out the major development at hand.

Using a simple palette of greys for existing buildings and one colour for the new built, we’ve achieved a very simple to understand site plan and a good starting point for our planning application conversations.

This drawing was produced in AutoCAD and rendered in MColour, back in 2002 at my time at Anshen + Allen, London office.
