Drawing Futures: Speculations in Contemporary Drawing for Art and Architecture /// The Bartlett /// 11-12 November 2016
Drawing Futures 2016 will be held on the 11th-12th November 2016 at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL in London.
The two-day conference will bring together some of the world’s leading practitioners in drawing for conversations about the contemporary cutting-edge and future directions of drawing as a critical tool for art and architecture.
The conference involves 24 speakers from around the world alongside our four keynotes, for two days of intense discussion on drawing.
The event will also hold the launch of the Drawing Futures book, published by UCL Press and Riverside Architectural Press featuring 60 projects selected through our Call for Works, serving as a critical compendium of contemporary drawing practice in art and architecture.
On Thursday 10th November we will have a special Drawing Futures edition of the Bartlett International Lecture Series where Nicholas De Monchaux will speak.
As part of Drawing Futures 2016, the Bartlett will also host masterclasses by Sir Peter Cook. Please see here for details of how to book tickets for this event.
